Advantages of 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator

(1) Faster response time
Response time of 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator: 5ms. Response time of the traditional dynamic compensation device is not less than 50ms. The 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator can be mutually transformed in a very short period of time, from rated capacitive reactive power to rated inductive reactive power. The incomparable response speed is totally enough to compensate for the impact load.


(2) Stronger ability to suppress voltage flicker
The traditional dynamic compensation to suppress voltage flicker can be up to 2:1, while the 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator can reach 5:1, or even higher. In addition, due to the fast response of the 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator, enlarge the device capacity can continue to improve the ability to suppress voltage flicker.

(3)The 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator can work within rated inductive to rated capacitive range, which has a wider operation range than other dynamic compensation. More importantly, when the system voltage is low, the 10kV power quality compensator can output
reactive power current close to the rated condition. While other types dynamic compensation are all provided capacitive reactive power by capacitors, its output reactive current is proportional to the grid voltage, the power grid voltage is lower, the reactive current output is also lower,so the ability to compensate the power grid will become weak. This is the essential shortcoming of other dynamic compensation technology.


(4) compensation diversification;
With the same set of 10kV power quality comprehensive compensator, different compensation functions can be realized:
1. Seperately compensate reactive load
2.Separately compensate load harmonic
3.Separately compensate load unbalance
4.Also compensate the load reactive power, harmonic and unbalance
Therefore, the 10kV power quality compensator has powerful compensation function.

(5) Active filter function;
The 10kV power quality compensator adopts PWM technology. It not only produce very low harmonic itself, but also can compensate theharmonic and active power of the load to achieve the function of the active filter, which completely realize the multi-function.

(6) small floor area;
Due to the absence of large capacity capacitors and reactors as energy storage components, the floor area of the 10kV power quality compensator is usually covered only about 50% of that of other dynamic compensation in the same capacity, even smaller than the 10kV SVG volume. If any circuit faults happened in the device, there are alarm, shutdown and other corresponding countermeasures and timely upload, which will not effect the superior system. The whole set of equipment realizes automatic detection, remote manual switching and short distance manual switching, and there is a reliable shutdown between the above three modes to prevent accidents. Detection and control are fully automatically unattended.

 

If faults,not produced by the device itself, such as over-voltage protection and under-voltage protection, the device will automatically put into operation after the detection system is normal.
 

Service commitment

1. Service method: on-site service and telephone advice or fax.
2. Take actions after receiving the user's response within 2 hours; If emergency issue, service personnel will arrive on the site within 24
hours in the province and within 48 hours out of the province.
3. Ensure the dispatched personnel obey the rules and regulations of the field, and have the obligation to train the knowledge of operation
and maintenance of the equipment for the customers .
4. In time to provide customers with all technical information stipulated in the contract or agreement.

 

Order note 

1. Please see the manual, as far as possible to provide the company's product models and specifications.
2. Provide transformer capacity, load type and power factor without compensation.
3. Estimate the maximum three-phase unbalance rate.
4.Intelligent capacitive type could be another choice, which only provide transformer products of 200kVA or below 200kVA.
5.As to the replacement of the operational project, please provide the monthly average power, average reactive power, the power factor after
compensation, three-phase current records and the recent changes in electricity consumption.
6. Special requirements should negotiate with manufacturers.
